Some of the group went exploring on their own finding some of the springs and shopping!

Some of you may remember the Eureka Springs trip in 2005 when my dad (Jim) broke down in his new 2004 Miata. We had some troubles this trip, minor compared to Jim's. Kent said that we needed to warn everyone not to go to Eureka Springs with our family! Kent and Les helped fix our problem and we all made it to our afternoon drives. Some of the group went on the dam tour which included a stop at the Thorncrown Chapel.

There was a dinner on Saturday evening that some of us attended. It turned out to be Jim's lucky night. It was rather amusing, there were three chairs available at our table and some members of the hosting Miata Club joined us. The gentleman on the end wanted to change chairs with Jim and so they did. When they did the drawing they said that there were 3 chairs with colored dots on the bottom, Jim had the red one. He won an admission to Miata's at Hallett. He was so excited! I picked the table we were sitting at, shouldn't I get a share of that?? Congratulations Jim!
